Note: The band’s Sunday August 24th concert is SOLD OUT. However, you can still get weekend or single-day wristbands for the fesitval as well as some separate ticketed events to meet the band. Wristbands for the festival ARE ON SALE NOW, but tickets for the band's evening performance on Sunday are SOLD OUT.
The festival will take place in the City of Lincoln in the UK from Friday August 22nd to Monday August 25th. The band will be performing a concert Sunday evening August 24th.
In addition to the concert, the band has some other events to see and meet them! Some are paid, some are free with wristband.
Friday: Tea with fans
Saturday: Photo session with fans, Q & A Panel/Acoustic Performance, Meet and Merch

Join Steam Powered Giraffe for a tea party to remember forever. You will have an opportunity to meet with the band members as they visit each of the tables in the Edwardian Suite. Please note the band will not be in costume or makeup for this feature – so it is an opportunity for you to meet the people behind the robots.

10:00am - Ticket collection for SPG Q&A session | Castle Merch Gazebo
If you have a festival wristband (for Saturday or the full weekend) and would like to see Steam Powered Giraffe in their Q&A session at the County Assembly Rooms today you will need to pick up a free ticket in person from the Merch Gazebo in the castle, near to the courthouse (the building ahead of you when you enter through the East Gate). Strictly one ticket per person. If you manage to bag a ticket you will be in for a treat as SPG will be in full makeup and costume and will be performing a short acoustic set during the session.

This is your opportunity to have a professionally taken photograph with Steam Powered Giraffe who will be in full costume and makeup. You will get to pose with the musicians and will have a hard copy photo to take away with you.

1:30pm - Q&A session with Steam Powered Giraffe | The County Assembly Rooms - Ballroom
Please note that this feature is free to access to anyone who (a) has a festival wristband (Saturday or weekend) and (b) has collected a Q&A ticket from the Merch Tent in the castle on Saturday morning at 10:00am. The tickets will be given out on a first-come first-served basis. Once everyone with a ticket has been given a chance to enter the Ballroom and further capacity will be available to a stand-by queue of wristband holders.

Steam Powered Giraffe will be in full costume and makeup for this feature in which they will not only answer questions from the chair and the audience, but they will also play a short acoustic set.

Steam Powered Giraffe loves to meet their fans, and their fans love to meet them! This session fulfils both desires. The band will be in full costume and makeup. You will be able to buy merch, have something signed, meet the band, and take a quick selfie over their table with them!

If you’ve come along to see Steam Powered Giraffe in concert tonight at the Engine Shed and have come in your finest robot/Walter Worker makeup or steampunk attire, why not coma along to the area in front of the courthouse (at the far end of the castle when you enter through the East Gate) to meet up with other fans and have a group photograph taken by our official photographer? Please note that SPG themselves will not be present at this feature – they will already be down at the Engine Shed preparing for tonight’s concert!

Steam Powered Giraffe's concert at The Asylum will take place at The Engine Shed Sunday night! Come hear the band perform 2 hours of songs, alongside Victor and the Bully and the wonderful Thomas Benjamin Wild Esq.!
Note: The VIP meet-and-greet line after the show is only for VIP ticket holders and will go through the band's merch table and then onto the band for chatting briefly, autographs, and a photo.
Non-VIP ticket holders can still queue up in a "just merch" line after the show to purchase SPG merchandise, including pre-signed autographed photos/show posters.

This will be Steam Powered Giraffe’s last fan-meeting experience of the Asylum Steampunk Festival. Come along to the Heritage Centre and meet members of the band. They will not be in costume – you will be meeting the real people behind the robots. Hopefully they will have some merch left for sale (this cannot be guaranteed) and you will be able to grab an autograph and a selfie. Please be aware that this will be a time-limited feature. If the queue is long, we will do our best to advise those who are unlikely to gain entry before the event ends at 2:50pm. Consider purchasing tickets for Saturday's Meet and Merch instead to guarantee better merch offerings, and a chance to get a selfie with the band in their robot makeup and costumes.
