BAM Kalamazoo camps are where LEGO creativity meets science!
In this hands-on STEAM camp, students will explore how science, engineering, and creative thinking come together. Using the LEGO Education Science kits especially-designed for learners in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades, campers will build models, test ideas, and analyze results—learning how to think like real innovators.
Campers will:
🔬 Design and build models to explore scientific ideas
📊 Collect observations and analyze results from experiments
🧠 Use creativity and critical thinking to improve their designs
🎨 Combine artistic thinking with engineering challenges
🔄 Test, adjust, + refine their ideas through hands-on exploration
🧑🤝🧑 Work independently and in small groups to solve problems and communicate results
This camp focuses on the process of discovery—encouraging students to ask questions, test ideas, and learn from results. Curiousity is key!
