STEAM Holiday Adventure (Ages 9–13) Get ready for a week packed with curiosity, creativity and discovery!
Kids will step into the world of science and imagination — from extracting DNA from fruit to becoming junior detectives with fingerprinting and chromatography. They’ll dissect flowers to uncover the secret life of plants, dream up brand-new planets (and the aliens that live there!), and dive into loads more hands-on experiments and arty adventures. It’s learning made exciting!
These sessions will be run at Cake or Dice, over the Easter school holidays. Sessions will run from 9am to 3pm daily. Lunch will be provided, vegan and vegetarian options available.
Week 1 - Tuesday 7th April to Friday 10th April.
Week 2- Tuesday 14th to Friday 17th Friday.
Timing for the days are
8.30am - Drop off for breakfast (cereal and milk, Dairy free option of milk available)
9am to 1pm - Morning session with break
1pm-1.30pm Lunch
1.30pm - 3pm - Afternoon session.
On the Weds and thursday this will include a visit to McManus galleries, or the Howff (dependant on weather). Friday session will be an open showcase in the cafe, parents are welcome to come along and see the exhibition!
