NL Voor het eerst in dertig jaar staan Meg Stuart en Francisco Camacho weer samen op het podium. Aan het einde van de Nuraghe-beschaving bewaakten stenen reuzen – sporen van een rijke cultuur die langzaam afbrokkelde – de kusten van Sardinië. De mysterieuze ruïnes vormen het vertrekpunt van Stuarts en Camacho’s duet, waarin ze elkaar ontmoeten in ritme en herhaling binnen een landschap gemaakt – en live gemanipuleerd – door beeldend kunstenaar en performer Gaëtan Rusquet. Ze spoelen terug, versnellen, coderen, ontcijferen, maken en verbreken patronen, en speuren zo naar de afwezigheden in de geschiedschrijving. Wat blijft er over?

Meg Stuart et Francisco Camacho se retrouvent pour la première fois sur scène depuis 30 ans. À la fin de la civilisation nuragique, des géants de pierre - vestiges d'une culture riche qui s'effondrait lentement - gardaient les côtes de la Sardaigne. Ces ruines mystérieuses sont le point de départ du duo de Stuarts et Camacho, qui se rencontrent dans le rythme et la répétition dans un paysage créé - et manipulé en direct - par l'artiste visuel et performeur Gaëtan Rusquet. Iels rembobinent, accélèrent, encodent, déchiffrent, font et défont des modèles et, ce faisant, retracent les absences dans l'historiographie. Qu’est-ce qui reste?

For the first time in thirty years, Meg Stuart and Francisco Camacho are back on stage together. At the end of the Nuraghe civilization, stone giants – traces of a rich culture that slowly crumbled – guarded the coasts of Sardinia. The mysterious ruins form the starting point of Stuart and Camacho’s duet, in which they meet each other in rhythm and repetition within a landscape created - and manipulated live - by visual artist and performer Gaëtan Rusquet. They rewind, speed up, encode, decipher, make and break patterns, and in doing so, look for the gaps in the historical record. What remains?
