The culminating public event of Staying Power is our Staying Power Civic Fair. This space is an in-person gathering for celebration and power building with and for community members of the Fairhill-Hartranft neighborhood and beyond. Join us for flash workshops and discussions on fathering and fatherhood, home schooling (in a pandemic and beyond), gentrification and youth voice. This fair features events led by many of the Staying Power Curatorial Fellows including; Aisha Chamblis, Frederick Harris, and Natasha Mosley, and Ms. Nandi Muhammed. Closing our programming series with insight and electricity, Ursula Rucker will grace the Ile Ife Park stage with a performance! DuiJi 13 will provide us with a mix to keep the crowd in good spirits all daylong! Featuring A Woman of All Trades Marketplace produced by Aisha Chamblis including neighborhood artisans and local vendors and free Water Ice + pay as you go snacks provided by Bee Treats and Grill Master Ereka providing pay as you go Kabobs, Burgers & Hot Dogs, this fair is sure to send us off into summer feeling affirmed and uplifted.
