The Staxx Brothers are a high voltage hit machine that has been a staple of the Seattle music scene since the turn of the century.Led by founder and frontman Davin Michael Stedman, the group has managed to release four damn near perfect albums while playing live shows that defy both logic and gravity. Staxx Brothers shows are an experience that is a rite of passage for many local residents.They have collaborated with legends like Bernie Worrell, Sly & Robbie, and Dr Fink, and have opened for some of the greatest funk bands on the planet and held their own.
My Wildest Dreams Bio: Davin Stedman founded the band My Wildest Dreams to achieve a dream that has eluded him for a solid decade. As a solo artist Stedman simply wants to present the songs he wrote and recorded around the world with a great local band of talented friends he can count on.Since 2015, Davin Stedman has traveled the world recording solo albums with legendary artists as wildly diverse as Sly & Robbie, Dr Fink (The Revolution), Geno Lenardo (Filter) and Eric Struthers (Neville Brothers) and the Brighton band King Porter Stomp with whom he spent a Summer touring England and penning career defining tunes like "Free Your Mind".The full list of collaborators and the catalog of songs is thoroughly impressive. The time has come to share this dream with the world. But there is another dream that he shares with the musicians that comprise his tight and nimble band of all-stars that share his affinity for songwriting.There is a secret triad in the land of bands that is little known and seldom achieved.
