Het Belgische viertal Stavroz staat bekend om hun unieke mix van organische instrumenten, elektronische grooves en een filmische sfeer die tegelijk intiem en meeslepend klinkt. Wat begon in Oost-Vlaanderen als een dj-project, groeide uit tot een liveband die wereldwijd podia veroverde – van Coachella tot Cercle. Met hun eigen label Moodfamily en hits als The Ginning en Gold Town nestelden ze zich stevig in de internationale scene. Op 17 oktober verschijnt hun nieuwe album Take a Seat, een rijk en avontuurlijk werk dat 14 tracks lang laveert tussen melancholie en hoop. De band experimenteerde met instrumenten uit Noord-Afrika en het Midden-Oosten, en werkte samen met niemand minder dan RY X voor het ingetogen hoogtepunt Lilac. Van de desert groove van Hunt tot de tedere warmte van Para Rio. Take a Seat toont Stavroz op hun meest intieme manier en geen beter plek om de plaat aan ons voor te stellen dan AB!
