As part of 2026 Holy Week services, Catholic Cemeteries of Long Island will hold a Stations of the Cross prayer service at Cemetery of the Holy Rood in Westbury on Good Friday to commemorate Jesus's passion and death on the cross.After opening prayers in Holy Rood Chapel, we will begin our 1.5 mile pilgrimage through the cemetery, stopping at each of the 14 Stations to pray and commemorate Our Lord’s redemptive death.
Service will conclude with final prayers and Veneration of the Cross in Holy Rood Chapel.
Please note: In the case of inclement weather, the full service will be held in Holy Rood Chapel.
