Get your reps in & meet people from the Station Theater community at this FREE improv jam every other Saturday!The Community Jam is for practicing improvisers only. This is not a show. It is an open practice that is not open to the public.
We will not have a Jam on Saturday, May 27 and Saturday, September 2, due to the Memorial Day and Labor Day Weekend holiday.
Station Theater's Community Improv Jam takes place on the First and Third Saturday of every month, 4:00 to 5:30 pm. The Jam is a great opportunity to practice on stage, get in your reps, and meet new people!
All experience levels are welcome - from experienced veterans to students just starting out - but you must have improv experience to participate.
You must have a ticket to attend. Only 20 attendees will be admitted per week so get your tickets now! Please email [email protected] to cancel your ticket if you are unable to attend.
REQUIREMENTS
-All participants must be vaccinated and masked. Proof of vaccination is required.
-All participants must have a completed Releases & Acknowledgements document on file.
-All attendees should be prepared to participate. Spectators and guests are not permitted.
-Warm-up starts at 4:00 pm. Please arrive 5-10 minutes before the Jam starts.
-Must be 18 years or older.
-All participants must follow all policies of the Station Theater Handbook & Code of Conduct .
- COVID-19 INFORMATION
After an active warm-up, attendees will be divided into small groups. Each group will have 7 minutes to connect before performing a 10-15 minute set. The event will conclude with an All-Improviser Jam.

Located next to Toros HTX Soccer on Crockett between Taylor and Hemphill Streets.
PARKING & TRANSPORTATION: There is ample street parking available along Crockett, Hemphill, Summer, and Taylor Streets. Make sure to check street signs for parking availability. Please do not park in the lot in front of Toros HTX unless they are closed. Please be mindful when parking in front of area homes as some driveways are difficult to see. The #30 bus stops at Sawyer St and Shearn St, which is approximately a 2-minute walk. See attached photo of our building for reference.
