At the conclusion of a short Stated Meeting starting at 4:30pm, WB Steve Martin (see bio below) will give an approximately 30-minute presentation on “Albert Pike and the Art of Socratic Argumentation”, a dynamic Masonic education opportunity you do not want to miss! The words of Albert Pike in the 31st degree dictate how one should approach a debate. These connections to Socrates and Plato will be examined and a live debate will occur. It will be an informational and entertaining experience for all.Concordia Lodge meetings are open to all Master Masons without invitation. A Mason does NOT need to be a Scottish Rite Mason to attend this lecture. Guests are asked to wear a black suit or tux for our Stated Meeting.
Please be aware that the Lodge members meet for a closed-door, members-only committee meeting prior to the Stated Meeting. So, guests will be welcomed by the Senior Deacon between 4:15pm and 4:30pm prior to the meeting.
