Florida State Representative Angie Nixon is running for the United States Senate (FL). Angie Nixon is a Democratic State Representative, union organizer, mother, and proven fighter born and raised in Jacksonville. In the State House, Angie has been a leading champion for working and middle class Floridians, from expanding childcare for thousands of families; to stopping a major grocery chain from gouging their prices; to leading the resistance to DeSantis’s unfair voting maps.
Angie’s pathbreaking leadership includes serving as Executive Director of Florida for All, a statewide coalition that has registered tens of thousands of new voters while raising resources for campaigns and issue-based organizing across the state. At home in Jacksonville, she runs a bookstore and community hub focused on bringing healthy food and educational opportunities to local families.
Firefighter Bernard Taylor is running for the United States House of Representatives for FL District 21. A local leader, father, and advocate for the people of Florida’s Treasure Coast. Born and raised in this community, I know what it means to work hard, serve with integrity, and show up for our neighbors. I’m not a career politician, I’m someone who’s lived the struggles everyday families face, and I’m running for Congress to be a voice for those who’ve been ignored for far too long.
