State of Hawaii Internship Program - Open House Event

Hele Imua is a 12-week paid internship program for eligible qualified candidates.

Who's Eligible (Act 251, SLH):

1. Must be 16+ yrs of age
2. Must be a Hawaii resident
3. Must be currently enrolled: - In a public high school or has earned a high school diploma or equivalent within 1 (ONE) year of applying for the internship OR - In an accredited college of university or has earned a college or university degree within1 (ONE) year of applying for the internship
4. Must have graduated with a or have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 ir higher (on a 4.0 scalce) or its equivelant
5. Is NOT an apprentice in a registered apprenticeship program or journey worker
6. Criminal history background checks may be conducted*
