About this Event
All are welcome to join AIA Arizona Small Firm Exchange (SFx) for an inspiring panel on vision, resilience, and growth on the evening of Tuesday, March 31 at the AIA Arizona office in Phoenix.
Four small firms founders in the Phoenix Metro area—each whom launched their respective firms within two years prior to the pandemic—come together for a candid conversation about what it takes to start an architecture firm and thrive through a uniquely volatile environment. This panel session will explore each firm’s journey from launch and early visioning, through whipsaw economics conditions, the realities of business operations, to positioning for the future.
Moderated by AIA Arizona rep to AIA Small Firm Exchange (SFx) Ryan Short, AIA, Co-Owner, Founder, and Partner at Cotton Architecture and Design, the panel will include:
- Aaron Bass, AIA Principal Architect at Stance Architecture
- Michelle Rutkowski, AIA Principal Architect and Founder at MOR Studio
- Sara Yehia, AIA Founding Principal at Kenzy Architects
5:30PM - Reception
6:00PM - Panel Discussion
Attendees will receive 1.0 LU from AIA.
Free for all AIA Members (Architect, Associate & Allied). $10 for Non-Members.
