Startup Sioux Falls invites you to a morning of inspiration and connection at our monthly event, Startup Sunrise. Each month, two startup founders or business leaders will briefly share their journey, followed by a facilitated conversation. Startup Sunrise transforms early mornings into a vibrant environment to connect, learn, share ideas, and problem solve with the brightest minds in our community!

8:00 AM: Coffee - Connect over a cup of 'Rise & Shine' by The Source, roasted exclusively for Startup Sunrise.
8:30 AM: Performance by Nathan Hults, the featured artist for the Washington Pavilion’s monthly Live & Local series.
8:35 AM: Founder Stories - Hear 3-minute presentations from two founders or business leaders, followed by a conversation facilitated by Joni Ekstrum, executive director of SD Biotech.
9:15 AM: Event concludes, but FREE coworking begins (9:15 am-Noon)

About , Thel & Worksleeve
Tung Nguyen is the son of Vietnamese refugees who immigrated to South Dakota in the early 90s. While studying for Mechanical Engineering in college, Tung was heavily involved in the local music scene where he was able to perform in various acts and organize local concerts and benefits. Aside from his studies, Tung was a Station Manager at a community radio station where he developed a passion for broadcasting and communications. After completing his degree, Tung moved to Denver, CO in 2017 to begin his career in engineering and created Worksleeve, a podcast production company .Through Worksleeve, Tung has worked with companies to address their podcasting needs and also produced, engineered, and recorded several podcast shows. These shows vary into pics such as engineering career training, music production and recording, and Vietnamese American studies.

With a proven background in pilot scale-up biotechnology, he specializes in partnering with innovators and visionaries to bring their new ideas to market.
