About this Event
Science Oxford Presents Starry Night – Family Stargazing (Autumn).
Join us for a captivating night under the stars at our Family Stargazing evening.
How big is the universe? Join us as we explore the scale of the universe from right here on planet Earth out to the most distant galaxies inside our inflatable planetarium. Step outside to gaze at the night sky and look through telescopes with local astronomers from Abingdon Astronomical Society who will share their passion and knowledge as your cosmic tour guides.
Plus we’re thrilled to welcome a special guest—Oxford’s very own Space Store! They’ll be bringing replica Tim Peake space suits and real meteorites for you to explore up close, adding an exciting hands-on experience to your evening under the stars.
Enjoy an astro-amazing evening of stargazing, planetarium show and fun and educational astronomy-themed activities.
