Stargazer Cinema brings the stories of emerging First Nations filmmakers from Australia, and around the world to Barangaroo Reserve for an eight-week outdoor cinema series.
The outdoor cinema at Barangaroo Reserve is a place for storytelling, and its location is especially fitting. In the local Dhurung language, the name Yellamundie Ngurang means "Storyteller Place."
From moving dramas to bold contemporary stories, each film reflects the richness, resilience, and creativity of First Nations culture. With the stars overhead and Sydney Harbour as the backdrop, it’s a cinematic experience like no other.
