Join a park ranger for an evening under the stars! We will explore the stars, planets, and constellations that light up our world after dark. Learn how to spot famous star patterns and hear legendary stories. A telescope will be set up for a closer look at the wonders above.Where: Swim Beach Parking Lot
Bring: camp chair/blanket, flashlight (preferably red light), binoculars (optional), plenty of water, bug spray, close-toed shoes
Reminders:
- Events and programs are subject to cancellation due to weather.
- Please dress for weather.
- No cellphones or flashlights in viewing area, as they can disrupt night vision.
- A limited number of red-light flashlights will be available.
- Arrive before dark so you can easily find where we are set up.
- Please leave pets at home for this event.
- Attendance is free with park admission.
- If arriving after 4:30 PM, use the self-pay station to get a day pass.
