Join Sacrewell this November for our Star Party!Join us on Saturday 15th November for an evening of stargazing with the Peterborough Astronomical Society (PAS).
- Doors open 5:30pm for 6pm start.
We’re thrilled to partner with PAS, whose passion for astronomy shines as brightly as the stars themselves. Their friendly team will be on hand to chat with everyone, from curious beginners to seasoned sky-watchers and will set up their own telescopes so you can spot constellations and stars (weather permitting).
“We want people to go away inspired by what they see and learn at the Star Party and try to make it as accessible as we can, whether it’s using an app to identify a star, a constellation or advice on how to buy your first telescope”. Peterborough Astronomical Society.
PAS will also be hosting the below talks:
- We Are All Made of Star Stuff – This talk will look at the evolution of stars and explain where the elements in the periodic table come from.
- Eyes on the Universe: Webb, Hubble and Beyond – This talk will share recent deep space discoveries by NASA and ESA space probes.
