The AGM is an opportunity for residents to hear an update on the work of the SCRA over the past year, understand our priorities moving forward.
As part of the AGM, we are opening the door for residents of Stanton Cross ONLY to put themselves forward to become committee members of the SCRA.
The committee plays a vital role in representing residents’ interests and supporting the day-to-day running of the association. There are a range of roles available, and we welcome people with different skills, experience, and levels of availability.
What does being a committee member involve?
* Attending a majority of monthly committee meeting
* Preparing in advance for meetings and voting
* Volunteering some time outside of meetings to help progress agreed actions
* Acting in the best interests of the Stanton Cross community
* Working collaboratively and respectfully with other committee members
* Occasionally engaging with external stakeholders (such as the council, developers, or local organisations), depending on your role
You don’t need prior experience — just a willingness to contribute and a genuine interest in helping the community.

We strongly encourage residents to attend the AGM in person to meet the committee, learn more about the association, and see if getting involved is right for you.
