Once again we will be attending the *50th Anniversary* of the *Stanford Hall VW Show* in the grounds of – you guessed it – Stanford Hall stately home near Lutterworth, LE17 6DH.I have booked a 20 car pitch to park on the show field itself (not the public car park).
Please note: I've shared this event across the mk1 Forum & Community, Midlands Owners, 3.2 Owners, and The TT Addicts groups - please state which group you're with in the Discussion section (above) with what car you're bringing.
If you love Volkswagens, Porsches, Audis and everything VAG but have never been before then this event is a must!
Admission:
The show is a ‘pay on the gate’ event.
Entry is £18.00 per adult or child 15 and over.
Children 14 and under (and dogs) enter free - just keep them on a leash (...dogs, not the children!)
To gain access to the show field I have to post a stand pass to you – there's no 'print-at-home' options available, and you need a stand pass in your front window to access the event field.
As I have to post them I'll be asking everyone on the stand for a small fee (£2.50 per car) to cover the p&p and cover the stand booking fee (so I'm not out of pocket!)
On the day we'll be entering the show field from the South Kilworth gate (what.3.words location 'https://w3w.co/stuns.thrashed.trainer') – please arrive before 11am (after which late-comers may be directed to the public car park by event marshals) – the public will be wandering around the field, and the organisers don't want cars driving through the crowds in case of accidents.
If there's anyone in the group you think would like to attend that I haven't invited then please add them to the invites - Facebook won't let me tag everyone.
Anyone who replies as 'Going' and leaves a comment in the Discussion section will be added to a Messenger group to chat about what ya bringing, the location of the pre-show convoy meeting point (if you fancy driving in together) and general arrangements.
