Come and Sing some of Charles Villiers Stanford’s greatest and best loved church music in the beautiful surroundings of All Saints Church in Hove, together with members of RSCM Voices South.The music marks the 100th anniversary of the death of legendary church music composer, Charles Villiers Stanford. Singers can expect professional, friendly, and fun direction from Hilary Punnett, Director of RSCM Voices South, and supportive and powerful organ accompaniment from the tremendous Hill organ of All Saints Church. No prior knowledge of the repertoire is required. The day will conclude with a special service of Choral Evensong at 17:00, putting all the music prepared into performance.
All singers, members and non-members of the RSCM, are warmly invited to attend. Singers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or responsible adult at all times. All Saints has step free access and a full range of toilet and changing facilities are available.
The event fee includes use of the Come and Sing Stanford Evensong book, which will be issued on loan at the start of the day.
