About this Event
Come and meet the risk-takers of the persecuted church!
We’d love for you to join us as we gather from across Wales to meet our persecuted family and celebrate what God is doing in some of the most dangerous places in the world to be a Christian.
This year, our Wales Standing Strong will be held at Rhiwbina Baptist Church in Cardiff.
Doors open at 9.30am, with the event kicking off at 10am and finishing at 3-3.30pm.
We will be joined by Joseph* from Vietnam, who will be sharing some of his story. Joseph* is from Vietnam. Having previously worked as a missionary and church planter, he today serves the persecuted church in various capacities. He’s been married for more than 20 years and has three children.
This is a precious and unique opportunity to meet your persecuted family and hear their stories, ask them questions and pray for them. There will be space for worship and you’ll also get to sample what life is like for millions of believers worldwide. It’s an experience not to miss!
“I particularly enjoyed the speaker who brought to life what persecution is really like – the pain, the danger, the fact that his life might be taken from him at any time, the lost contact with his family. It was so moving, and it’s such a pleasure to know that we can pray and give into this wonderful work.”
