Enjoy an intimate evening of swinging jazz and warm musical conversation at Bluebird Jazz Bar.Led by Egyptian-Canadian guitarist and oud master Ali Omar El-Farouk, this special quartet brings together three of Bangkok’s finest and most active jazz musicians — Karla Silvestre on voice, Veerachit Tangsamutr on bass, and Tor Jazz on drums — for a festive night rooted in groove, listening, and shared energy.
With over 25 years of global performance experience, Ali draws from a deep musical background spanning jazz, Arabic classical music, flamenco, and beyond. Together, the quartet explores the jazz standards repertoire we all know and love, delivered through the classic voice-guitar–bass–drums formation.
Expect a solid swing, soulful improvisation, and a true four-way musical dialogue — musicians fully present, responding to one another in the moment, and letting the music unfold naturally.
