After seven years, one of Hong Kong’s most beloved cultural celebrations, Standard Chartered Arts in the Park Night Parade, returns to the heart of Causeway Bay. With Standard Chartered Community Foundation as the project sponsor and Hysan Development Company Limited as sponsoring partner, the event will transform the Lee Gardens Area into an expansive, luminous art festival that celebrates culture, creativity, and community.
Entirely created by local artists, this year’s Night Parade takes inspiration from the fairy tale The Adventures of Pinocchio. On the evening of 29 November, the streets of Lee Gardens Area will come alive as five illuminated giant puppets, eight magnificent carnival costumes, and four dance groups fill the night with colour, rhythm, and illuminating performances. Nearly 100 performers will take part in the procession, making its way from Lee Garden One main entrance along Yun Ping Road, Pak Sha Road, Lee Garden Road, and Kai Chiu Road to Hysan Place and back, offering an immersive light-and-shadow experience that reimagines the Lee Gardens precinct as a living stage.
As part of the pre-parade build-up, visitors are welcomed to explore the neighbourhood through the “Mystery Box Game” from now until 29 November. By discovering and scanning the themed mystery box game QR codes on store windows and exterior walls around the Lee Gardens Area, visitors are eligible for winning prizes worth over HK$1,000 from participating stores and restaurants, creating a fun and immersive way to discover the Lee Gardens Area before the parade.
On 29 November Night Parade event day, visitors are welcomed to enjoy face painting experience at Lee Garden One and Lee Garden Two, collect a Pinocchio Hat, and take part in interactive games to win prizes including shopping and dining e-coupons sponsored by Lee Gardens tenants through point redemption on the Lee Gardens app.
After the conclusion of the Standard Chartered Arts in the Park with the much-anticipated Grand Finale Parade, several illuminated giant puppets will remain on display at G/F Office Lobby, Lee Garden One in December, enabling the appreciation of craftsmanship and creativity behind the spectacular works.
The return of the Standard Chartered Arts in the Park Night Parade in the Lee Gardens Area further reinforces the precinct as the ultimate destination for art, culture and community engagement in Hong Kong. Featuring nearly 100 performers, dazzling visuals, and creative activities suitable for all ages, the event welcomes families, couples, residents, and visitors to enjoy unforgettable experiences that celebrate creativity, connection, and community.
