About this Event
On May 19, the Sacramento County Office of Education will hold a public hearing that will help determine the long-term outcome and viability of Highlands Community Charter and Technical Schools.
This is an important moment for our students, our staff, and the communities we serve.
Highlands provides a pathway for adult learners working to earn a high school diploma, learn English, and build skills for the workforce. Many of our students are balancing work, family, and life responsibilities while pursuing a better future.
We are inviting students, staff, families, and community members to attend this hearing and show support.
Why attend?Because your presence matters.Because student voices matter.Because access to education matters.
We are asking attendees to arrive early so we can sit together and show a strong, unified presence.
