About this Event
Come explore the hilarious world of stand up comedy in this five session workshop series. Local comedy legend Renee Groux will lead a supportive and creative introduction to writing and performing 5 minutes of original stand up material.
Over the course of 9 hours of instruction (including a student showcase) this hands-on workshop series will cover joke structure, storytelling, honing your voice, stage presence, and idea generation.
And the class concludes with a student showcase to share the 5 minute sets you've been honing over the past month. Big laughs, chill vibes, and a supportive Pinch community!
No experience necessary! All are welcome!
