STAND UP 301 (Wednesdays)

Dates: 5/27, 6/3, 6/10, 6/17, 6/24, 7/1 (Wednesdays 7-10PM)

Showcase date: 7/11 6PM

Prerequisites: Standup 101 and Standup 201

Instructor approval required.

In Stand-Up 301, students will expand their sets from 101 and 201 into a polished 10-minute set for a final showcase performance. As we work towards this goal, students will receive multiple performance opportunities to refine their material, including:

• Two guaranteed spots on our Tuesday Open Mic during the course.
• One 5-minute spot on either the Friday 8PM or Saturday 8PM show. ( 5 minute sets on weekend shows will be recorded by the students and will be shown and given notes in the following class session )

Additionally, students will receive a recording of their final showcase set, along with detailed one-on one performance notes from the instructor via zoom in the week after their showcase.

Courses are taught by veteran instructors who are long-time performers. Classes meet at The Westside or at one of our classroom spaces a block away. Class sizes are limited. Enrollment is dependent upon availability. For enrolled students a confirmation welcome email will be sent 48 before the start of the first class. There are no refunds or transfers on tuition.
