STAND UP 2 WITH SASHA MARK - GAME, SET, MATCH
EIGHT WEEKS. ONE SHOW. $420.
PRE-REQUISITE: Stand Up 1 or equivalent experience.
Thursdays, September 3 - October 29 No class Sep 10
7:00-9:30pm PST
Location: Carousel Theatre Studios - Studio B
This class is all about punching up your jokes and developing stronger comedic choices to deliver your first eight to ten minute set. You will learn the techniques to take your comedy to the next level, working on more advanced joke writing structures/setups, crowd work, the importance of stage presence, and continuing to develop that sweet sweet comedic voice of yours.
Stand Up 2 culminates in a glorious showcase where you will have time to explore more length and structure than Stand Up 1 at one of our amazing stand up showcases.
This class will prepare you for Stand Up 3, where you will push your writing and performance capabilities towards a festival-style taping.
Please note:
- This class is for folks ages 18+
- This class has a pre-requisite of Stand Up 1 or equivalent experience.
Venue Accessibility - Unfortunately this venue has limited accessibility. Studio B is on the second floor of the building and is only accessible via a steep staircase. Click here for more info!
Show Day Information - Wondering when your shows are? 95% of BTC shows are on Wednesday nights at 7PM or 9PM. Your exact show schedule will be sent out the week of your first class!
Refunds & Cancellations – a 100% refund is available up to two weeks before your class begins. Within two weeks of the class start, registration is non-refundable.
