The Alameda County Veterans Affairs Commission is organizing an Oakland-based Stand Down event to provide resources for unhoused Veterans.About this Event
Stand up for the Stand Down in the Town. Our event is being held in the Laney College Gym on the basketball court. Shower access will also be available. A continental breakfast and lunch will be served. Unhoused students are also invited.
Resources for the following will be available: Housing, Healthcare, Wellness & Mental Health, Employment, Legal, Justice Involved, Life & Social Services, History & Pride. If the free online tickets sell out you're still welcome to attend.
