Calling all Stampede parade lovers!
Skip the early wake up call, leave the lawn chair at home, and avoid the rush to get a front stage seat to the Calgary Stampede parade in support of a historic church who needs the communities help to stay afloat!
Seating ticket
For $75 plus applicable fees, each reserved chair offers a front-and-center view of the Calgary Stampede Parade. Each reservation also includes space for one child (8 years of age or younger) to sit on the sidewalk directly in front of your chair, as well as access to restroom facilities and our cafe will be open for purchases.
Please note that children will be seated on the sidewalk; we recommend bringing a pillow or towel for their comfort, particularly in case of wet conditions due to overnight rain prior to the parade.
Tickets are limited so be sure to get them while they last! Please read all Frequently Asked Question's before you reach out to our office manager, Sue.

What's the refund policy?
Due to being a not-for-profit organization with volunteers, we unfortunately cannot issue refunds.
Where does my money go to?
Knox United Church has been a part of the downtown community for over 100 years. Its presence provides space for contemplation, rest and renewal through various programs, justice initiatives, worship services, yoga, AA meetings and concerts. So you're telling me, for $75+fees I don't have to haul my 5-year-old, lawn chair, backpack and other stuff at 7 a.m. to get a good spot to watch the parade?
Yes!!! Your ticket purchase includes a great view of the parade, a seat for yourself, a "kid seat" for your little one in front of your chair on the sidewalk. Please bring a towel or pillow for them to sit on.
What if I'm bringing three kids under 8?
That's awesome! However, you will be required to purchase two tickets then. One ticket only covers one person along with only one child under the age of 8.
Are bathrooms accessible?
Of course. Our elevator is located on the west side of the church which can be used by those who purchase a ticket. Our stairs also have guard rails for those who may need extra stability.
What if I have a child that's over 8 and a child that's under 8?
Please purchase two tickets. One ticket would be for you and your child under 8 that would get a "kid seat" on the sidewalk and the other ticket would be for your kid over 8 that would get a seat beside you.
I want a bit more wiggle room between myself and the person beside me, can I purchase 2 tickets?
You bet.
My stroller has built in seating, can my kid just use that for a seat?
Unfortunately, no. Due to the limited space along the sidewalk and the anticipated crowds, we're asking parents to "park" their strollers in a secured room inside the church. However, Knox United Church is not liable for any lost or stolen property.
