About this Event
Spend the day making a simple leather satchel, and learn the basics of lacing and stamping in the Leffler Leather classroom.
You have a choice of leather colours, lacing techniques, hardware finishes and shoulder strap styles.
You'll decorate the leather using Aram's enormous collection of stamps, then use traditional lacing techniques to assemble the bag.
Tutor Aram O'Mara has over 40 years of leathercraft experience, and has been teaching classes of all levels and abilities for the last decade.
All materials and tools needed to complete the class are supplied; just bring yourself! There's also an option to purchase a second bag to make at home - pre-cut leather, tools and hardware are included in the kit for only $110 extra - available on the day of the class.
We provide tea, water and biscuits on the day. If you'd prefer not to bring your own lunch, you can order a selection of Bánh mì or sandwiches for only $10 extra.
