Join printmaker Alex Williams for a fun, hands-on workshop where you’ll learn how to carve and print your own stamps.In this creative class, Alex will guide you through designing and carving three simple stamps using softcut rubber and lino carving tools. You can arrive with ideas about your design or use some of Alex’s handy templates. You’ll then combine your stamps to print beautiful patterns onto fabric squares, creating two unique fat quarters to take home.
Your stamps are yours to keep and reuse, so you can continue stamping at home — decorate more fabric, embellish a plain shirt, or make matching gift wrap and cards. Come along and discover the satisfaction of handmade printmaking in a relaxed and friendly setting!
