A monthly art club at Staiths Cafe! Each month you take part in a new activity from wreaths to textiles, printing to sculpture!Join Gateshead artist Megan Randall to create your own using porcelain clay. In this workshop you'll create your own clay dish to take home. Megan will guide you through the process, starting with blending colour into the clay and then hand building and sculpting before forming a dish using the nerikomi technique. At the end of the session Megan will take away the pieces to fire, which will then be available to collect from Gateshead Central Library at a later date.
No experience necessary. Adults only.
Tickets are £5 per person. Please note, ticket prices are low due to funding for Riverside Routes. Riverside Routes is part of the Tyne Derwent Way programme, funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and North East Combined Authority.
Drinks and cakes can be purchased until 5.50pm.
