Get ready for a flipping good time as the Staines Pancake Race returns to the heart of Staines upon Thames!
Join us for a fun-filled lunchtime celebration of Shrove Tuesday, packed with laughter, friendly competition and community spirit — all while raising money for a great local cause.
🕚 Open to the public: 11am – 12:15pm
Come along to cheer on the racers, soak up the atmosphere and support this much-loved local tradition.
🕚 Business Pancake Race: 12:30pm – 1pm
Local businesses are invited to take part in the ultimate pancake-flipping challenge — a fantastic opportunity for team bonding, networking and a bit of friendly rivalry. Fancy dress is optional but encouraged! Who will be crowned the victorious business?
The Pancake Race is free to enter and open to all ages. Bring your colleagues, friends and family — and don’t forget to practise your pancake flip!
The event is proudly organised by Staines Rotary and Visit Staines, bringing together residents, businesses and visitors for a fun and charitable celebration.
Optional donations at registration are very welcome, with all proceeds supporting Staines Shopmobility and their fantastic work helping people with limited mobility enjoy getting out and about in the town.
