Join local glass artist Sarah Davis for a dragonfly themed stained-glass workshop.Create a beautiful decoration to display at home or give as a gift.
With help from your experienced tutor and inspiration from the WWT wetlands you will design and make your own unique dragonfly hanging using a variety of coloured glass and wire. You will learn how to cut glass, in colours of your choice, and to join it using copper foiling techniques, including soldering.
It’s a lovely way to try out a new craft or build on existing skills in a relaxed, small group setting.
Date: Friday 24 January
Time: 9.30am - 4.30pm
This workshop is suitable for beginners or for those with some glass working experience, but it is for adults only. Note that pregnant women are advised against working with stained glass materials.
All materials and equipment are included. Please wear closed shoes (not sandals) and bring your reading glasses if needed!
Cost: £100 per person including admission and a £5 refreshments voucher to use in the Kingfisher Kitchen or kiosks.
