Stage Performance Workshop: Prep Your Performance - Acoustic====================
Take your song from practice to performance.
You’ve been working on your songs — now it’s time to bring them to life in a supportive, intimate setting. Whether you have an upcoming performance — like our June 28 Acoustic Showcase! — or just want to prepare a song for stage readiness, this workshop is for you.
This session is designed to help you develop the confidence, presence, and musicality needed for a relaxed, vibey performance, whether you self-accompany, sing with tracks, or experiment with new ideas. We’ll explore aspects of stage performance like engaging your audience, storytelling, mic technique, creating moments, and mental preparation — all tailored to the low-pressure, acoustic showcase environment.
Rather than focusing on a single skill, we’ll identify key areas for each attendee and provide feedback to help you share your music authentically. Bring the song(s) you’re working on and let’s make your performance expressive, relaxed, and enjoyable.
Artists of any level can also attend and learn from watching others-performing during the class is not required!

Workshop the skills needed to create an engaging and memorable experience for your audience with Justin Leighton Long, co-author of the forthcoming book "A Show with a Capital S," and an Artist Development Coach who has helped many up-and-coming artists and bands launch successful careers and get signed to labels.
