Le nœud des croyances — une exploration collective des récits humains
Cet été, nous vous proposons Story of Belief, un stage immersif de 6 jours imaginé par Jared McNeill à Montreuil.
« Notre monde est fait d’histoires. »
Les histoires qu’on nous raconte, celles que nous répétons, celles que nous oublions, mais aussi celles que nous nous racontons à nous-mêmes. De ces récits naissent nos croyances, puis nos actions, nos cultures et nos systèmes.
À travers le théâtre, le corps, la voix et le geste, nous chercherons à transformer la parole en une force créatrice vivante : un espace où différentes croyances peuvent coexister, dialoguer et se répondre dans un « nœud de croyances ».
Pendant le stage, la pratique théâtrale invitera les participant·es à explorer la séparation du corps et de l’esprit, le rythme et l’impulsion, la fusion de l’impulsion et de l’action, le rapport à l’imaginaire, la voix physique, l’abandon au silence vivant et l’improvisation collective.
Une recherche artistique et humaine qui nous ramène à notre pouvoir d’agir : créer nos mondes individuels tout en participant collectivement au monde que nous partageons.

The Knot of Beliefs — a collective exploration of human narratives
This summer, we invite you to join Story of Belief, a 6-day immersive workshop created by Jared McNeill in Montreuil.
“Our world is made of stories.”
The stories we are told, the ones we repeat, the ones we forget, but also the ones we tell ourselves. From these narratives emerge our beliefs, and from our beliefs, our actions, our cultures, and our systems.
Through theatre, the body, the voice, and gesture, we will seek to transform speech into a living creative force: a space where different beliefs can coexist, respond to one another, and intertwine in a “knot of beliefs.”
Throughout the workshop, participants will be invited to explore the separation of body and mind, rhythm and impulse, the fusion of impulse and action, the relationship to imagination, the physical voice, surrender to living silence, and collective improvisation.
An artistic and human research process that brings us back to our power to act: to create our individual worlds while collectively shaping the world we all share.
