🎬 LAU Alumni London Chapter Presents: Our First Ever Film Screening!
We’re thrilled to announce the launch of the LAU Alumni London Chapter’s screening series celebrating the creativity and achievements of our global alumni community.
Our first film in the series is Stable Unstable, directed by Mahmoud Hojeij, a proud ’97 graduate of Communication Arts (BUC/Beirut campus).

About our Alumni:
Born in Lebanon in 1975, Mahmoud Hojeij is a contemporary artist, filmmaker, media and film professor and writer. He received a B.A. in Communication Arts from Lebanese American University, Beirut in 1997, and an M.A. in Media Studies from New School University, New York, in 2001. In 2006, he received a Ph.D in Media and Communication from the European Graduate School in Switzerland. He has published numerous articles on media and his work has been shown internationally. His first feature film was Stable Unstable (2013)
Hojeij has also co-edited several books on photography and video, including Performing Images with Ziad Antar (2006), In-Pose with Diana Dilworth (2003), and Transit Visa with Akram Zaatari (2001).
