We're taking our popular needle felting workshop and offering it up as a fun, relaxing and social way to spend your evening.
So grab your friend, your date or just yourself and join us for this beginner felting workshop.
You'll choose your picture from a template or design your own picture. You will then felt your picture onto a piece of fabric and frame it in an embroidery hoop. Pictures include flowers, mushrooms and cute vegetables. We will discuss needle felting technique, different types of wool and how to transfer images onto fabric.
All supplies provided including a felting needle and mat to take home with you! We'll also have some snacks on hand to go with your BYO glass of wine or beer.
Taught by Jenny Torino, a teaching artist for the past 10 years and has been working with fiber and textiles for the past 5 years. She loves creating sculptures using needle felting, wet felting and paper. She also has a regular sewing practice and loves teaching children and adults this useful and empowering skill.
