St Wilfrid's procession is an ancient Ripon celebration with origins dating back to 1108. Every year (1st August 2026 ) an annual feast took place which has now grown to include a procession through Ripon's mediaeval streets. The day is celebrated by Riponians , visitors and groups and organised by a local volunteer committee.
Trucks and Tractors decorated and people dress up and have a rolling carnival procession.
There is also a carnival 🎪 fair 🎡🎠🎟️
On the market place with a large screen and music .
