In celebration of the 800th anniversary of the birth of St Thomas Aquinas, Campion College’s Centre for the Study of Western Tradition (CSWT) is pleased to host a conference exploring the theme “Aquinas and the Vita Contemplativa”.Drawing on Aquinas’s enduring insights into the contemplative life, the conference will examine the significance of contemplation in his theology, philosophy, and legacy – both in his time and in ours.
The Most Reverend Anthony Fisher OP will deliver the keynote address: “From Vision to Virtue and Back Again: Contemplation and the Moral Life in Thomas Aquinas”.
