Get ready for a day full of fun, scent games, and treasure-hunting adventures with your dog! We have three exciting classes lined up, perfect for first-timers, reactive dogs, and seasoned nosework pros.Every dog gets to participate in hands-on rat tubes and scent games, plus a special “Pot of Gold” takeaway for each class to celebrate their efforts. Oh, and of course a photo op!
Here’s what’s on the schedule:
10:00 am – 🪙 Gold at the End of the Leash – Reactive dog-friendly; perfect for dogs who haven’t met rats before.
12:00 pm – 🍀 Find the Leprechaun’s Gold – Intro Class – Beginner-friendly for first-time rat explorers.
1:30 pm – ☘️ Lucky Dog Challenge Mini-Game – Three themed rounds (Tipsy, Silent, Distance) for fun, teamwork, and laughs!
Spots are limited, so please sign up for the class(es) that fit your dog and schedule. Every handler and dog team is guaranteed fun, laughter, and a little St. Patrick’s Day magic!

Reactive Dog Friendly – for dogs who have NOT met rats before
Ready to introduce your dog to the exciting world of rats in a safe, positive way? In this beginner-friendly class, dogs will explore live rats for the first time while practicing calm, focused interactions.
Dogs and handlers will:
Learn safe handling and body language cues around rats
Practice confidence-building exercises and short scent games
Experience positive reinforcement for curiosity without pressure
Have fun hunting for “golden rats” in a supportive, reactive-dog–friendly environment

For dogs and handlers meeting rats for the first time!
Is your dog ready to start their treasure-hunting journey? This beginner-friendly class introduces dogs to live rats safely while teaching handlers how to guide, read, and reward their dog’s curiosity.
In this session, dogs will:
Explore live rats in tubes for the first time, safely and positively
Build confidence and curiosity in a stress-free environment
Learn to work as a team with your handler for successful hunting
No experience required - just curiosity, patience, and a love of discovery!
1:30pm ☘️ The Lucky Dog Challenge! ☘️
Think your dog’s got the nose - and your handling skills? It’s time to find out!
This is a 3-round St. Patrick’s Day mini-game where your dog hunts real rats… but the leprechaun has cursed you, the handler! Each round adds a twist:
🍻 Pub Round (Tipsy Handler) – Keep your “drink” safe while guiding your dog.
🤐 Silent Curse – No talking, no clicking, no kisses… only gestures.
🌈 Fairy Circle (Distance Round) – Stay back and let your dog problem-solve from afar.
✅Just your dog, your wits, and a little luck!

Price per dog: $40 or two dogs for $70
