?☠️St. Pirans Day Pasty Party ?☠️ - It returns… bigger and better than ever!
Join us on Sunday 5th March for a celebration of Cornish culture at Avalon Cafe!
We will have live music from @pemperry, @ali_the_bari, @n1ckdwyer & @evshz playing a selection of folk, shanties, and whatever else they feel like doing. Plus we will be encouraged to do some group singing of silly old Cornish songs and hopefully some dancing.
There will be a large supply of pasties and scrumpy coming all the way from Cornwall and @wyldgarlic will have some traditional Cornish cakes ready to eat. Earlier in the day there will be a “Cornish Souvenir” stall selling arts and crafts, including hand-made pasty bags, flag plates, and standing stone tees with a percentage of profits going to St.Petrocs charity.
