Feeling Lucky? Adopt a Ducky!Join us for St. Peter School's 4th Annual Duck Race in beautiful, historic Pawtuxet Village!
The race begins with up to 1,000 yellow rubber ducks and up to 100 red ducks being thrown in to the Pawtuxet River approximately .25 miles up from Rhodes on the Pawtuxet, and ends at Rhodes on the Pawtuxet. The race is a twist on a typical raffle. Each yellow duck is the same exact size, color and weight; as is the same with the red specialty ducks. The number on your Duck Adoption Certificate corresponds with the number on the sponsored rubber duck entered into the race. Judges will preside over the event from various land and water locations. The decision of the judges is final.
There is a path along the river from which you may be able to check on the race. In the mean time-- enjoy some games, raffles, music & food!
All funds raised will directly benefit St. Peter School, and will be used to support academic programming, after school activities, and campus improvements.
