From the Event Hosts: We are partnering with the Ocean Conservancy to host the 2024 International Coastal Cleanup (ICC) with events taking place between September 1st and October 31st throughout Pinellas County. This annual event brings together volunteers in coastal regions to collect, count, and document the trash they find, acting as citizen scientists all over the world. The Ocean Conservancy then uses this data to study marine debris and release a yearly report detailing the most common types of trash found in coastal areas, the total weight of trash collected, and much more.
Join Keep Pinellas Beautiful and the City of St. Petersburg on Saturday, September 28th for a community cleanup at Tangerine Plaza in South St. Pete! This event is part of our efforts to keep our communities beautiful and litter free while stopping debris from entering storm drains and traveling to the bay. All ages are welcome to participate!

WHERE TO MEET: Tangerine Plaza Parking Lot - 1780 22nd St. S St. Petersburg, FL 33712
WHEN: Cleanup begins at 9:00 AM. Please arrive a few minutes early to check-in.
WHAT TO WEAR: Volunteers should wear closed toe shoes, sun protection and weather appropriate clothing.
WHAT TO EXPECT: Cleanup supplies will be provided. A water refill station will be available, please bring a reusable water bottle. Please note there are no public restrooms onsite.
PARKING: Free parking will be available onsite at the Tangerine Plaza parking lot. See map below.
