About this Event

You're invited to join us on the day before Ash Wednesday for St. Paul's Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper. The word shrove derives from the Old English term shrive meaning to absolve.

Being the day before the beginning of the Lenten season, the tradition was to be shriven by confessing one's sins. Eating pancakes was a way to use up butter, flour, eggs and other ingredients that were consumed less during the 40-day period of Lent.

This year, please help us raise support to benefit TRUE Fund recipients by purchasing a ticket for $15 and enjoy a pancake supper. A processing fee will be charged to your card.
