About this Event
Join us for a self-guided tour of the Gibson House Museum, and learn about the work and the lives of the young, Irish immigrant women who worked as cooks, laundresses, nannies, and chambermaids.
Finish your tour experience by enjoying Irish-themed snacks and live fiddle music by the Kitchen Strings in the working spaces, and a special exhibition on the top floor of the Gibson House.
This program is supported in part by a grant from the Boston Cultural Council, administered by the Mayor’s Office of Arts and Culture.
