🍀 Paddle for Miles Presents: St. Patrick’s Day Hats & Harmonies – Karaoke Night + Stretch Arm Raffle
Step into the Magical Land of Rainbows with Paddle for the Cure NYC for a springtime St. Patrick’s Day celebration filled with music, fun, and festive cheer! Let your voice roar, ride the waves of music, and shine like a dragon in the light during an unforgettable karaoke night. Guests will enjoy karaoke fun with a twist, plus the chance to participate in our Stretch Arm Raffle to win amazing prizes from our generous donors while supporting breast cancer survivorship programs.
🎩 What to Expect:
🍀 Pick-a-Clover: Choose Your Music Genre
• Reach into our St. Patrick’s hat to pick a clover, which determines your music genre.
• Genres include: Pop, Rock, Jazz, Gospel, Irish Tunes, Jewish Songs, Filipino Songs, Korean Songs, Chinese Songs, Latin/Salsa/Reggaeton, Classical/Opera, Afrobeat/African Songs, or any genre you love!
• Keep picking until you find the genre that makes your spirit soar.
• A laptop will be available to search for your song, and the lyrics will be displayed on a sliding screen so the audience can follow along and sing with you.
🎤 Karaoke Night
• Anyone can participate—solo, duet, or group!
• Perform one song from your chosen genre.
• Fun interactive rounds include:
• Luck Song Round: a song about hope, luck, or good fortune
• Hat Highlight Walk: show off your festive St. Patrick’s Day hat before performing.
👏 Audience Participation & Scoring
• Cheer on performers and score performances using a points system.
• Scores are displayed in real-time so everyone can follow along.
• The participant with the highest score will be crowned the night’s karaoke champion!
🎟️ Stretch Arm Raffle & Prizes
• Stretch Arm Raffle: $5 per ticket. Measure once or stretch multiple times—each ticket = a chance to win!
• 50/50 Prize: 50% to the winner, 50% to Paddle for the Cure NYC breast cancer survivorship programs.
• The more you stretch, the more hope, fun, and support you send out —and the more boobies of hope you save!
• Amazing prizes from our generous donors will be awarded!
