Your LOUNGE CAR ticket includes: a 3-hour train ride in a vintage lounge car, a special bar snack, coffee, tea and water. Other snacks, drinks, and booze are for sale in the Cedar Park Car.
Your COACH CAR ticket includes: a 3-hour train ride in a vintage coach car. Snacks, drinks, and booze are for sale in the Cedar Park Car.
More Trivia Details:
Each round will consist of 10 questions: 9 questions on a specific topic and 1 bonus Train Trivia question. The event will start with three rounds where cars will compete against each other. Following a short break, two additional rounds will take place to determine the top team of each car and the overall Trivia Night Champion. The top team of each car will also receive a prize. Across the entire train, the top three teams will be awarded prizes, including merchandise and ASTA Gift Cards. Lastly, the Trivia Night Team Champion will be announced, and each team member will receive a free ticket to our next trivia night to defend their title!
The Bertram Flyer Route:
Sit back for a relaxing journey into passenger railroad's glorious past onboard the Bertram Flyer! Our vintage train cars are from the golden era of rail travel, built in the '30s, '40s and '50s, and fully restored for your enjoyment. On board the train, your 44 mile journey spans the South San Gabriel River and flies past our historic 1912 Bertram Depot. Enjoy views of Short Creek Canyon, the 300-foot-long wooden trestle bridge over the South San Gabriel, and the Duffy-Shamrock communications mast-one of the tallest structures in the world!
This 44 mile ride is 3 hours round trip with no layover. SCHEDULE: Departs 2:00 PM, Returns 5:00 PM. Due to the unique nature of our non-profit railroad operations, there are no refunds.
