CLASS 101: BEGINNER $65
New to Mahjong? This class is perfect for you! It covers an overview of the tiles and their suits, basic rules and objectives, how to build a winning hand, and the flow of play from dealing to winning. Iearn common terminology, simple strategy tips, and proper table etiquette, with plenty of guided practice rounds to build confidence. No prior experionce is needed —just a willingness to learn and enjoy the game.
CLASS 102: BEGINNER II $65
Somewhat know the game? This Iesson is designed for players who need a refresher and are ready to build on their knowledge of the game. We'll dig deeper into what you learned in your first lesson while introducing additional gameplay rules such as blind passes, conccaled hands, and proper calling situations. With added strategy tips and guided practice, you'll also gain more confidence in Charleston passing and overall gameplay.
OPEN PLAY
Already experienced? Come join us for a night of fun & Mahjong! Casual, unstructured play session where players come together to play mahjong without formal instruction. It's designed for those who already know the basics and want to practice, socialize, and enjoy the game at their own pace. Players rotate tables as needed, ask questions as they come up, and focus on real gameplay rather than lessons. An instructor will be present to answer occasional questions, but the emphasis is on relaxed play, community, and building confidence through experience. Prizes will be given to Winners of the Game! Please bring your cards! We will have copies of cards available if needed.
